Welcome back to Tom’s Corner. Took the holiday break to recharge and back for another exciting year. I feel this is a great time of year to get back to the basics, and we are going to do a refresher for BNI success. Business and life are all about the ebbs and flows of activity and after a long break it is easy to fall off a bit. The key this time of year is to properly prepare for your meetings. I recommend starting to think about your sales manager moment a few days before your meeting. The first few meetings are great times to share with the group your goals for 2014 and how your sales team can help you reach your goal. I would share your goals that you want to succeed at BNI and also your overall business goals. When I last wrote it was the power of writing these goals and seeing the success come to life. I like to share with my team my BNI goals, business goals, and personal goals. In addition to sharing with the team at the meeting I would also bring my goals to my 1-2-1 meetings as it is important to support your goals in this later format. Good luck sharing.
