How your Visibility effects your income

Welcome back to Tom’s corner and the reboot for 2017. Today we are discussing visibility in the V+C=P formula. This is visibility + credibility = Profitability. Jacki Ross our President announced that we have been having an issue of people not showing up for set up and clean up. I have been guilty of this and we all can look and the mirror and say that we have missed a duty, but I want to discuss today how your absence should be the exception and not the norm.

We always think about visibility in the capacity of giving our sales manager moment or our 10 minute presentation, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. The real exposure is when we volunteer to serve on leadership, to collect the coffee, or to set up the room. This is where the membership has the opportunity to observe your actions and it is critical to follow though. A lack of follow up is the number one killer of one’s credibility. I posted a Facebook live video about this today, but you need to understand that people can not try services out. They are looking at how we dress, speak, and act to determine if we are worthy of their referrals. Everything that you do will effect where you are on the referral confidence curve. If you are looking at your goals for 2017 and feeling that you are not earning what you want then look to make sure that you are fully committed to the activities that you have signed up for.
